Professor Su has been dedicated in research on mechanism of metastasis and invasion of cancer.

Since he had completed his doctoral research of surgery, he worked as an oncological surgeon in Tianjin. Between 2003 and 2004, he started his post-doctoral program in Japan, and from 2004 to 2009, he completed his post-doctoral research at Vanderbilt University and University of Pittsburgh, USA.

He has over 10 publications on international journals and he was involved as chief translator (English-Chinese) for the sixth edition of ‘AJCC Cancer Staging Manual’.
